LakePointe Urgent Care provides a comprehensive range of medical services. We diagnose and treat non-life-threatening illnesses and minor injuries, perform physical exams and surgical procedures, and offer diagnostic tests, lab services, and more.

LakePointe Urgent Care offers extended hours, including evenings and weekends. If you cannot get an appointment with your primary care physician or an issue arises outside their operating hours, we are available to help. Affiliated with nearby hospital systems, LakePointe Urgent Care can also refer you to specialty care, if necessary.

LakePointe Urgent Care is more time-efficient and cost-effective than emergency rooms, making It more appealing.

Emergency Room

Emergency rooms (ERs) provide medical care for life-threatening conditions and severe injuries. Examples of conditions that may require emergency care include stroke symptoms, loss of consciousness, seizures, chest pain, shortness of breath, severe abdominal pain, major trauma, heavy bleeding, and suicidal/homicidal feelings, among others.

When faced with a life-threatening condition or severe injury, call 911 immediately to ensure that you receive timely and appropriate care. Emergency medical services (EMS) can provide initial stabilization and transportation to the nearest emergency room.

If you’re unsure about the severity of your condition or injury, it’s best to err on the side of caution and seek emergency care.

We are open 365 days a year to provide convenient access to care when primary care offices may be closed.

What Conditions Can Be Treated At LakePointe Urgent Care?

We treat a wide-range of non-emergency conditions, including common illnesses such as flu, COVID-19, colds, sore throat, ear infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and minor allergic reactions. We can treat minor injuries like sprains and strains, cuts and lacerations, minor fractures, minor burns, and infections as well as perform minor procedures.

Does LakePointe Urgent Care Offer Imaging Services And Lab Tests?

Yes, we offer on-site diagnostic services including imaging (X-ray and ultrasound) as well as laboratory testing (blood tests, urinalysis, and rapid strep/flu/COVID-19 tests) to ensure faster diagnoses and treatments.

Unfortunately we do not currently accept student or traveler insurance plans but we do offer affordable self-pay options to ensure that cost or a lack of health insurance is not a barrier to receiving quality healthcare.

Can LakePointe Urgent Care Provide Prescription Medications?

Yes, we can diagnose and prescribe medications for common acute conditions. We can also provide short-term prescriptions or refills for certain medications. We cannot prescribe or refill controlled substances including narcotics, sedatives, and stimulants.

Can I Go To LakePointe Urgent Care Instead Of The Emergency Room?

Our facility is appropriate for non-life-threatening conditions that require prompt attention. If you are experiencing severe symptoms like chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe pain, bleeding, loss of consciousness, or symptoms of a stroke or heart attack, you should go to the emergency room or call 911.

What If I Don’t Have Insurance Or Want To Pay Out-Of-Pocket?

LakePointe Urgent Care offers transparent pricing and strives to provide accessible care for individuals without insurance. A flat fee of $200 (price subject to change) covers the evaluation/treatment of most injuries and illnesses helps provide clarity and avoids unexpected costs.
