⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Urgent Care Experience

I highly recommend LakePointe Urgent Care.
The facility was very clean, comfortable, and professional, and unlike our experience in the hospital ER, there was virtually no waiting time. The entire experience was efficient and compassionate.
Most importantly, the doctor’s performance was truly A+.

My mother had fallen and injured her arm, which required stitches. The doctor examined her extremely carefully and went far beyond simply treating the obvious injury. Because she complained of hip pain after the fall, he ordered an X-ray to rule out a hip fracture. He also checked her eyes and the back of her eyes, knee reflexes, and carefully examined her scalp to make sure there were no signs of a head injury.

What impressed me most was his dedication and genuine concern for his patient. He spent approximately two hours with my mother, even staying with her after the office had officially closed, making sure she was properly evaluated and cared for.

This doctor is an example of what a truly dedicated physician should be. His thoroughness, professionalism, patience, and compassion were exceptional.

We are extremely grateful for the care my mother received.

I highly recommend Dr. Aleksandar Radovic at Lake Pointe! I had stubborn foreign material/ear wax buildup that two different immediate care clinics were unable to remove because of how difficult and time-consuming it was. From the start, Dr. Radovic was extremely patient, calm, and thorough. He walked me through every step of the process and never rushed. Because the removal was uncomfortable, he gave me as much time as I needed to rest and recover so I wouldn’t get overwhelmed by the pain.

Dr. Aleksandar Radovic dedication and skill were incredible—after nearly two hours and 6 or 7 careful irrigation attempts, he was finally able to clear it completely. I went to this Immediate Care Facility recently because I thought I might have a tick bite and it’s near my house.

I was incredibly impressed with everything and everyone! It’s clean, modern, convenient, and efficient! If I had gone to the immediate care at northwestern in Glenview I’d probably still be there!

When my back went out for the 4th time in 6 months, i had a conversation with Dr. Radovic that should have taken place with my GP after the 2nd episode. I usually have to wait weeks to see my doctor, but as a walk-in, I saw Dr. R  in less than 30 min. I found Lake Pointe Urgent Care today.  I couldn’t be more thrilled.  The entire clinic is new since last January, 2025.  Spotless through and through with very friendly and kind staff.  I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Radovic and receiving excellent care for an infection in my toe.  Dr Radovic had the foresight to get an X-ray image and also took a culture to determine what bacteria got into my blood stream.  Dr Radovic was very kind and gentle when excising my wound. Wow, I have never received such phenomenal medical care. I came in for an issue I had to go to the ER for in the past, and I didn’t want it to get to this point). Courtney, Dr. Radovic, and the person at the front desk (I’m sorry I don’t have her name) could not have been nicer of more pleasant.

Dr. Radovic went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me.
1) Got me a referral to a specialist who is seeing me ASAP. (She had her staff call me same day after hours).
2) Helped me figure out what to do to resolve the pain right now.
3) Found me a compounded pharmacy alternative to a medicine to treat my pain that saved me a ton of money.

This is like IF THOSE MEDICAL SHOWS (ie New Amsterdam) were real. Their catchphrase really is “How can I help?” Super kind. No ego. Extremely thorough. I’m telling everyone I know about LakePointe. I definitely have never thought highly enough of an urgent care facility to write a review of one, but clearly, LakePointe is exceptional. Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully designed facility, extremely friendly and efficient staff, the doctor we've seen twice now is really thorough and kind, and it's very kid-friendly too. Very impressed with Lakepointe- the Dr is beyond helpful and goes the extra mile. We have 3 kids so cold and flu season brought on many different issues to address. In addition, my 2 year old fell and we thought she needed stitches/staples. The Dr was honest and said it wasn’t necessary and addressed it with glue only, which worked well and saved us going through the process. He called to check on her the next day! So often it seems like other locations just go through the motions, getting you in and out without really talking things through or showing much care. I (for better or for worse) have been here twice now- once when k threw out my back, and this most recent visit for a bad chest cold/cough.

Several things impress me- the cleanliness is obviously the most important, but also how friendly and kind the staff are, the ease of checking in, and the doctor are all reasons I recommend coming here. It is an odd thing to recommend to people, but I do- I have been to other urgent care clinics that look dingy and dirty, where the staff are rude, and where the doctors don’t really seem all that invested in your health outcomes. Dr. Radovic is kind, thorough, and makes you feel at ease. He even remembered me from my last visit!

If you are tired and frustrated by the care you have received from our local hospital systems, please visit LakePointe Urgent Care. After 10 days of struggling with what I was sure was bronchitis I stopped in. Like many of you, I have been a longtime patient of NorthShore (now Endeavor) and well... they just aren't what they used to be. I had the most positive experience at LakePointe. Dr. Radovic and his team have cracked the code on how to efficiently run a clean, caring facility and it would be a crime not to sing their praises here. Everyone I came in contact with was so efficient, friendly and helpful. The care I received from Dr. Radovic and his PA, Vickie, was top notch. I was seen quickly both times I visited (went back for another nebulizer treatment) and I truly felt cared for and listened to. From the moment I walked in, from Reception to intake tech to Doctor, and X-ray RN and the PA—the entire experience was clean, welcoming, knowledgeable and highly professional. And I got a follow-up phone call with my results.

A truly great experience. No one likes to wait when you are in pain, I was able to make an appointment first thing this morning, checked in online and was seen right away upon arrival. The facility is wonderful, very welcoming, the staff are very pleasant and Doctor Radovic was able to see me right away. He took the time to examine me thoroughly and was very informative about my issue and about the appropriate treatment. Awesome experience- the facility is so clean. Staff super kind and attentive. The flow was seamless- in and out in 25 minutes even with X-rays to detect broken wrist. Front desk, xray tech and PA were so patient and explained everything to my very inquisitive 8 year old keeping him updated on what was going on.

I came in today because I knew I wouldn’t be able to get an appointment with my primary care physician as soon as I needed to be seen. I do not regret it. Everyone was so nice and respectful! I felt heard.
Often times when you go to urgent care, you expect to be treated like a number but that really wasn’t the case here. Everyone at LakePointe really made the experience feel catered to me from the check-in, to the nurse listening to my concerns.
The lead physician gave me options and recommendations based on his professional opinion but ultimately left the decisions regarding my health up to me which I appreciate. He also made sure to talk me through what he was seeing and thinking which really echoes the theme of transparency in healthcare.

I was extremely sick last week and went into this urgent care facility. You almost wouldn’t notice it as it’s tucked away at the corner of Skokie and Lake, by Irving’s, Organic Nails and Jersey Mikes but once you notice it… you see it’s a sunlit, bright, clean and beautiful new facility that is well maintained. I went online to book a time and do all the paperwork so it was seamless when I arrived. was greeted right away and waited less than 5 minutes for the nurse to get me. I was taken to a clean, bright, sterile room and waited no more than ten-twelve minutes for the doctor to come in (they were awaiting my strep/flu results) I’m guessing. Yes, A DOCTOR :) not a PA, not a nurse practitioner, not the medical assistant - Dr. Alex Radovic. Nothing against the other professions, I was just shocked to see a doctor. He was upbeat but compassionate and sensitive to how poorly I felt. He was knowledgeable, came in with a plan to get me back on my feet as quickly as possible and explained his rationale and why he came up with this course of action.  He brought me a bottle of water, offered to get me started on my first dose of antibiotics before I left (which I said YES), and sent me on my way encouraging me to reach out if my symptoms didn’t improve. I am so glad I went, his plan turned me around right away and I finally got some relief and am better. I want people to know about this because I usually go to Midwest Clinic and it’s not usually a positive experience and I don’t find the facility to be clean or run efficiently. I made an appointment today without knowing much about it, simply due to its location.  Could not have been more pleased, despite my feeling rather miserable.  They saw me on time (not common in my limited experience with urgent care, even with an appointment), and all of the staff were courteous and professional.  The facilities were clean and nice. The doctor took the time to run through all my symptoms with me, ask questions, and explain the eventual diagnosis. He also explained why he recommended the prescriptions he suggested, as well as why he didn't recommend some other testing (that they could have charged for) at this time. They were able to do the testing I needed onsite, and there was no long wait time. Walked in last minute after bringing a bike to a car fight. The staff was delightful, the beverages were hot (or cold) depending on preference, and they saw me right away. The care was genuinely better than I've experienced at some PCPs. They were attentive, friendly, and quickly put me at ease despite being wounded.
