- Acute appendicitis or pancreatitis

- Stay hydrated by sipping small amounts of water, electrolyte-containing drinks, or broths.

- Use over-the-counter anti-nausea medications as directed.
- Try ginger, peppermint, or other herbal remedies, which can sometimes help with mild nausea.
- Get plenty of rest and avoid activities that may trigger or worsen the nausea.
